What is Yoga?
The word yoga comes from an ancient sanskrit language, meaning to “yoke” or unite mind, body, and breath as one integral whole. A consistent practitioner will notice mind-body awareness naturally arises and gives way to a connected, conscious spirit. Yoga is a way to stay centered, connected, and calm in the midst of life’s chaos.
What is Flow Yoga?
Flow yoga is a dynamic style of yoga that combines breath and movement as one. As individual flow yoga practitioners, there is a sense of energy flowing throughout the body, guiding the practice from with-in. An experienced teacher of flow yoga can structure and shape a class to fit various factors that are present in each setting. Factors that determine what is being offered in a class include: participants and their needs, time of day, the season, and place. When a class comes into a united flow, there is a very special state of resonance, entrainment or harmonic coherence that cannot be described, it can only be experienced.
